Growing up in Udaipur, Rajasthan, I was surrounded by the beauty of tradition —majestic palaces, shimmering lakes, and the warmth of family gatherings. But what truly made my childhood special was my grandmother's kitchen. She wasn’t just cooking; she was creating magic with every spice, every recipe, and every story she told while stirring the pot. She always said, "Food isn’t just for the stomach, Sherebanu. It’s for the soul."

When I got married and moved to London, I carried her words and her recipes with me. It wasn’t always easy—being so far from home—but cooking became my connection to Udaipur. It brought back the laughter of family dinners and the aroma of spices that made every meal feel like a celebration.

When I opened Sherris, my dream was simple: to share those flavors and that feeling with you. Every dish we serve here is something I would proudly put on my own family’s table. It’s authentic, it’s heartfelt, and it’s a little piece of my home in every bite.
